How we measured the junior developer’s 31%
We do not ask an AI how much it can automate a programmer. We split the job into tasks, estimate how much time AI can already save on each, and add them up.
31% is not a 31% chance of being fired. It also does not mean AI replaces 31% of a person.
The idea at the centre: we are not trying to measure jobs. We are trying to measure work.
Two questions: what does a programmer actually spend the week on, and how much of that time can AI already save, at the same quality.
The page for junior developer shows the tasks, the weights and the saving on each one. The headline number is the formula. Nobody types it.
